The Brutes of Planet Moiromma

Introduction: – Let me tell you how it all started; It’s not as simple as I said, in my closing story (at the end of this story, I was told first, and then the second version, ‘the story’), if you have some more time it is , if not you can read the conclusion. I don’t expect you to believe it all, it’s one of those things that you have to witness to fully believe and understand, I’m a little skeptical myself. So keep this in mind and read a great story from Rognat, a friend of Tangor and the Sirens, over a cup of coffee one afternoon while visiting the British Museum in London. , a few years ago, he heard I was in town, doing some study on the cultures of the Giants and Malta, some cultures dating back to 5000 BC. But I believed the story (he was an old friend): as I say, I believed the story, even with its arctic atmosphere and fantasy gap attached to it; And this species called Moirommalites’, I’ve heard from him before (but not this story) so I’ll share it with you. In fact I have a photographic memory so I will quote it to you. And mind you, the ending was foreshadowed for me, and with more time to spare Mr. Rognat and coffee to boot, I got the longer version and added them both here. DLS

Story:

1

The Brutes

“The Brutes depart, or fight, or be killed, as they are on the planet Moiroma, a planet outside Earth’s solar system, which has an arctic climate. They spend about six weeks of their year, spring and summer combined, whose population, on Earth, is about the size of the Moon. I heard there were 20,000 to 30,000 inhabitants on the planet. Perhaps 15,000 of these inhabitants lived around the hill and cave area, where the excavated earthen arena, the city we call Brutesville, was home to many of the planet’s most powerful warriors, a kingship given to the most powerful warrior on the planet. They went to challenge each other for the great prize.

“Before I go on I’ll give you a little background: the old king died, he was 899 years old. Moiromma lived between 500 and 900 years; compared to the inhabitants of the earth before their Great Flood. Then, a contest was given to find a new king; it was to weed out the weak. process

“The Brutes, as they are known, have no doubt that this contest of valor is part of their nature, and they take it more as sport than anything else. Moirommalites have 100-lives after death. , they reappear, regenerated as they were before death, and usually something End up on a planet and most often not in the surrounding solar systems (how this happens is a mystery to me, call it magic chromosomes, or whatever, it’s just the way it is).

“So brutes from all over the planet came to test their mighty fighting skills in the arena for the crown. At the beginning of this contest all the contestants came upon reptiles-walruses, they were only given a dagger made of stone. All were tied up, seven in all, legs tied and torsos attached to the backs of these creatures. These giant worms , as they are known on the planet; they are a hideous beast, with wings, but no legs, and a soft belly, and large teeth, and somewhat the head of a serpent.

“And then the competition began, all the creatures on the backs of the brutes were on the muddy field, today only one man would come out of this arena, so if not the brute the last. The living animal would be freed and brought back to the cold lands equivalent to the arctic region of the earth.

“Standing behind a stranger looking into the pit, he said, “Kahg won’t win twice!” Then both the spectator and the stranger saw a huge, muscular beast named Kahg, drawing out his stone sword. His rope-belt was tied around his abdomen, and now he was on the monster’s back. Digged deep into its flesh, neck, As a vulture digs a dying carcase With his stone sword, his deadly crud reaper: Deep and wide, deep and wide, Deep and wide, Till the beast swam in the mud And tried to throw the prey from his back, And blood and tissue and bone. All exposed, the side of its body was pierced. The reptile could not throw. Kahg from his back, and now Kahg began to open its skull, slowly trying to carve a cleft in its brain, and as he did so, the beast fell on its face with its teeth deep in the mud.

“The spectators watched with horror and delight, a bloody spectacle. Kahg cut the ropes, freed his frame and limbs, and was overcome by the beast.”

((I suppose an Earthling would be shocked and saddened by the beast’s slaying that way, but on Moiromma, it was customary and everyone welcomed the day).

2

Kahg & Yob

“After Kahg’s victory, one by one the Brutes were defeated, until only Kahg and Job, the old man, remained. They both looked like mad men, all the reptilian beasts dying, or dying, and pulsating and perhaps longing for their death to come quickly. To both Kahg and Job I felt equal. What might be called powerful muscles; yet Kahg was more youthful and therefore more alert in his reactions, while Yob was more alert as he was much older. Skilled in mortal combat and never lost one.

“Do you think the two will kill each other?” said the stranger, the voice behind the spectator again. He was excited, lonely and wanted to share this happiness with someone else.

” said the stranger [annoyed]’Yes, yes…’ and he muttered something, bending over the pit to see the end of the conflict.

“Kahg, seemed to fight defensively, and Yob seemed offensive, and the stranger chose this. Thus, he said to himself: A millisecond after offensive combatants thrust, or what they call forward reaction. Opening, let’s call it a blink, but that’s how battles are won. will be

“Quicker than an eye, Yob left his fighting stance, thrust his body forward, and wound his opponent in the neck. So, Kahg had the moment the stranger was talking about opening, and he was going to do it. Take advantage of it, and when he wanted to do it, grab him by the shoulder, knock him down, and This happened as he went down, having broken his neck: in Kahg’s movement, his hand was ready to push the already prostrate Yob (plunging his sword into Kahg’s neck), when the spectator cried, ‘Him now, now, now, now…!’ Right behind the stranger’s ear. Kahg went to look up and by that time, Job had fallen and was several feet above Kahg, who was now safe.

“The stranger looked behind him and said: “You have spoiled the war,” and when the man went to respond, there was a hesitation in his voice, a millisecond (he was thinking) and the stranger took advantage of that moment and grabbed him. The arm loosened, and he jumped into the muddy field, Pulling him back, as fast as he could, both in the arena were astonished–Kahg and Yob, the stranger took a seven-foot tusk from an animal near, but some three feet from Moirommalit, and with one sweep, and perhaps three seconds, he tore open the stomachs of the warriors and the spectator.” Rognat

[Conclusion]: It was a mad, savage age on Moiromma, just like today (women, children, men, everyone and everything with the same makeup). Long ago, I can’t say when, for calling you a fraud.

A deep thunderous laugh came from the top of the pit-arena, where the spectators were looking down into the battle pit (many feet below them, a large mud hole, a circle where the beast and the brutes fought to the last man) where the brutes lay naked. Beasts, reptiles—the walrus’ nearly 2000-pound, tusks extend out several feet; The rough humor above continued unabated as the audience looked into the pit for a contest to see who was King of Moiromma.

In Moiromma they are all warriors – the women are tigers and the men are ordinary animals. There were very few cubs, but they were like cub-saber-toothed lions.

Tangor had a superior physique, a keen intellect, and a more developed brain for fighting: therefore, when he jumped into the arena, he did not flinch even with a sweat, his muscles strained a little, his quick and powerful blows provided the final state. The two contestants left in the arena, their bodies now writhing on the ground for the last moment of their lives; Both of them merciless savages, they fought for Moiromma’s throne, but Tangor was swift and surprised them both (but he didn’t want to be king; it was just, his nature got the best of him; he wasn’t of Moiromma stock, and actually looked different, but some notables in Moiromma knew him by Siren ).

It’s a world where no rules are forbidden (the unspoken philosophy, if you will, of this planet in Earth’s neighboring solar system) Butcher: The Battle That Happened might seem like today.

The inhabitants fought with teeth, swords, fists, fangs, claws, whatever was available – and when Tangor leapt into the arena, a dead reptilian-beast’ removed its tusk, slaying both Kahg and Yob. Contenders for the throne, five dead and seven beasts now dead in the arena, which is a surprise, but not a Paramount surprise, besides it is not against any rules and it is more entertaining for the high-level viewers.
